Novena MRT Station : ウィキペディア英語版 | Novena MRT Station
Novena MRT Station (NS20) is located on the North South Line on the Mass Rapid Transit system. It is an underground station which opened on 12 December 1987, and serves the Novena area. ==Etymology== The station was named after the popular weekly Novena devotion sessions held at the nearby Catholic Church of Saint Alphonsus or more popularly known as the Novena Church. The term "Novena" is derived from the Latin word "Novem" which means nine, and which refers to prayers said for nine consecutive days.〔(【引用サイトリンク】 title=Definition of Novena )〕
